The difficulties, the fun, and the mistakes of my Country station

This post is about my new SuperQuick A2 Country station.

The instructions to the model aren't the easiest of all, but after some good thinking you work it out (slowly!) It takes a few days, or if you don't have 4 annoying brothers, a few hours.

On the first page it comes with cut out accessories such as the gutters or the entrance hall. When you buy this make sure you know that you HAVE to buy the A1 country station platform because it is designed to go with the building. The waiting room is suspended in mid air from the ground so it will sit on the platform nicely, I found that out the hard way. Once we'd finished we noticed at the place were the platform goes there was a gap in the wall. We had to cut the entrance hall off and stick it in the right place so that the waiting rooms could sit on top.

Make sure that when you make this model you have a few books or heavy objects so when the glue is drying it stays in place.

Half term

Hopefully this Easter holiday I will go to gaugemaster and take pictures and make a video on it. By the way, I've started a YouTube channel a few weeks ago, check out my last few posts to watch them. Anyway at Guagemaster I will get some cars and a station, also I'll see what price they sell the flight of the mallard. I would love to get the mallard for my birthday because it is the fastest steam train in the world and my grandparents went on it when I was small.

Lowland carrier by hornby (0-4-0)

The lowland carrier was my first train that I got for my 9th b day and I have to say it is my smoothest train. The detail isn't fab although it is okay. It has two small hooks either side so you can connect it to chains and lift him up. You can get lifting trucks in hornby railroad. Comes with lots of wagons track and signal posts. Also it comes with a DC controller and transformer. 9\10.

So tomorrow is red nose day, woohoo! And it's the weekend soon. I'm sorry that I haven't put on many posts lately because I have been on holiday but I'll try to do some more grass maybe a train review soon. I might(99%shore I won't )go to Guagemaster. Guagemaster

I recommend Gaugemaster because it has shelves full of products from: metcalfe, hornby, skalectrics, airfix, and also corgi. As you come in you'll find a small layout with a selection of tunnels. You press a button and a train darts from one tunnel to another. They even sell magazines including my favourite, hornby magazine. There is even a layout with moving cars and trains.
It has tons of inspiration and the shopkeeper is shore to give you advise if needed. Okay are you ready for this, the shop is literally next to a station! This means that you can get on the train at wherever ( preferably in west sussex but there's probably more in England and maybe even other country's, I'm 99% shore there isn't though) and stop somewhere for lunch. Hi! Welcome to 0-4-0!

Let's get started on when I got my inspiration for a model railway. I've always been into Thomas the Tank Engine, but come on, who isn't? I watched it ever since I was 1,although I only noticed it was model railway when I was 7, I didn't care though.
But then, on my mum and dads wedding anniversary, I went and stayed at my Nan's house for three days. We went to a festival on one of the days and I saw a stall that had a simple two loop with siding layout with no scenery .That really boosted me for model railway.
Ever since I've loved it and one Christmas I got my first train, it was an 0-4-0 Hornby 'Lowland carrier'. Hornby can sell a cheep model railway set and you just get hooked so easily. After that, my uncle gave some of his old track and trains, now I have built (well, in the making of)a railway that folds onto my bed.
